Manchester-based B2B PR and content marketing agency, Metamorphic PR, has been appointed by Cogent Skills – the Warrington-based strategic body for skills in the UK science industries – to support its campaign to improve skills and international competitiveness in the life sciences and chemical industries.
Cogent Skills – which facilitates the £52m national skills and talent initiative the Science Industry Partnership (SIP) – has tasked the agency with creating regular media content to promote recruitment and training opportunities for employers that will help them develop valuable skills within their businesses.
The activity includes Metamorphic PR working with Cogent Skills’ partners – leading organisations in the life sciences and chemicals sectors – to research and develop the content and support growth in take-up of Cogent Skills’ programmes including apprenticeships, training and qualifications.
Jon Clements, director at Metamorphic PR, said: “It’s essential for the future prosperity of the UK’s science-based industries that companies invest in new talent along with developing the skills and knowledge of their existing scientists. Communicating clearly and consistently the benefits of cultivating new skills in the sector is where we will be lending our expertise.”
Judith Holcroft, head of marketing and PR at Cogent Skills, said: “Jon and the team at Metamorphic have already become an extension of our marketing team, getting to the heart of who we are and what we do very quickly and building relationships across our organisation. They are extremely results focused, use a tenacious approach and spot the stories we don’t always spot. Partnering with the right agency was key for us and Metamorphic are experts who have also become true partners with our very best interests at heart.”
